When the media requires an expert on weddings and special events, they call Joyce Scardina Becker. For nearly a decade, Joyce has authored numerous articles, appeared on television programs, and spoken at bridal and special event conventions.

Much of Joyce’s exposure to the media has been in her role as a spokesperson, where she is a sought-after personality. According to Julie Raimondi, Executive Editor of The Knot “…your talent, enthusiasm and business acumen are immensely valuable assets to The Knot.” As the Northern California Expert for TheKnot.com, the #1 wedding resource, Joyce dispenses valuable ideas and advice to the nearly-weds. Joyce also serves as a Contributing Editor for The Knot.com's affiliated magazine, Weddingpages, a wedding megasource.

Joyce teams up with ABC 7 Television as an on-air wedding resource and expert to help produce their Wedding Guide TV Specials. Since ABC7 launched their on-line Wedding Guide (www.abc7news.com), Joyce has been their Wedding Expert, answering questions from readers.

Joyce has been chosen by Leading Caterers of America as their expert on weddings. In a bi-monthly column that she writes for their website (www.leadingcaterers.com), Joyce provides valuable nuptial tips to couples and caterers alike.

Here is a summary listing of Joyce’s writings, presentations and quotes:
